Scientific Cooperation between BUOG and the British Cultural Center

BUOG delegation, represented by the Chancellor of the University, Dr. Ali Al- Mashat, the Dean of Oil and Gas Engineering College, Dr. Firas Al- Badran and the Head of Chemical Engineering Department, Dr. Mohammed Abdul Wahab, has discussed the possibility of joint scientific cooperation with the British Cultural Center.

During the meeting, they discussed the possibility of organizing English Language training courses via Learn English Free Program and the British Cultural Center in collaboration with Basra Universities that were participated in the meeting.

Both sides have agreed to develop the capabilities of human resources working in the academic institutions so as to achieve quality in the performance of Iraqi Universities. It is also worth mentioning that this cooperation is an important step towards establishing cultural and scientific relations between Iraq and Britain.
