Construction and Projects Department
The department is directly related to the Chancellor of the University. It includes three divisions:
1-Planning and Projects
2-Executive and Follow up
3-Government Contracts
It is concerned with all the engineering activities of the University of Basra for Oil and Gas in addition to the investment plan projects.
Tasks
1-Responsible for the investment plan projects, it reflects the vision and strategy of the university.
2-Execution, follow up and construction of the university buildings and the related projects.
3-Preparing projects' plans and make certain of the financial allocation for these projects.
4-Preparing the monthly follow up reports of the in- progress projects.
5-Arranging regular field visits for the projects.
