A delegation from Basra University for Oil and Gas (BUOG) has met a committee formed by South Oil Company (SOC), the meeting discussed the possibility of joint cooperation between BUOG and all oil industry institutes of Basra. They agreed to prepare memorandum of understanding regarding scientific researches, training, joint scientific site visits, conferences, seminars and workshops.
Dr. Ghazwan N. Saad, the Chancellor Assistant for Scientific Affairs in BUOG, confirmed that," the meeting discussed the main points regarding the memorandum of understanding which shall achieve the principle of mutual cooperation between BUOG and SOC", he added that," the meeting focused on scientific research and cooperation, training and technical support as well as providing integrated laboratories".
