The President of Basrah University of Oil and Gas participates in the preparatory forum for the Eighth International Iraq Conference on Oil, Gas and Energy

In response to the official invitation presented to His Excellency, the President of Basrah University of Oil and Gas, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Halil Hafez Al-Kaabi, participated in the preparatory forum for the Eighth Iraq International Conference on Oil, Gas and Energy, which was held in the capital, Baghdad, in preparation for the Eighth International Conference and Exhibition in Iraq, the largest event in the field of oil, gas and energy that will be held In Basrah for the period 16-19 March 2023, In cooperation with the Parliamentary Oil, Gas and Natural Resources Committee and with the support of the Ministry of Oil, the National Investment Authority, the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Electricity and the Ministry of Environment, in addition to the Media and Communications Authority, the Iraqi Economic Council and the organizing company Pyramids, as the preparatory meeting was held on the nineteenth day of December 2022, in the presence of the Vice President The Council of Ministers and Minister of Oil, Mr. Hayan Abdul-Ghani, the First Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Mr. Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, the Minister of Environment, Nizar Amidi, a number of members of Parliament, directors of oil companies, and a group of specialists and academics in the field of oil in Iraq, and the President of Basrah University of Oil and Gas, Professor Dr. Muhammad Halil Hafez Al-Kaabi, spoke During his speech on the localization of the gas industry in the fields of exploration, extraction, transportation systems, its role in petrochemical industries, partnership in investment in the oil and gas sector, the role of universities in preparing engineers and technicians through the Oil and Gas Academy and specialized training centers, and the role of partnership and constructive scientific overlap in the development of industrial sectors in the fields of oil and gas.
