Basrah University of Oil and Gas discussed ways of joint scientific cooperation with Halliburton International Oil Company during the visit of the company delegation to the presidency of Basrah Oil and Gas University and met with Mr. University President Prof. Dr. Mohammed Hliyil Hafiz al-Kaabi on the morning of Tuesday, October 20, and discussed ways of mutual scientific cooperation and the possibility of participating in scientific activities organized by the University, and provide research avenues for the development of the oil sector in Iraq and Basrah in particular and the possibility of activating advanced technological aspects in private fields. In the laboratories of the software for the oil and gas sector to provide the university student with practical experiences and skills during the period of his academic studies and thus the return of that benefit to the labor market in the field of oil industries, al-Kaabi stressed during the meeting the importance of focusing research and academic studies on providing effective solutions and solving problems facing the oil industry, and for his part the delegation of Halliburton International company showed its cooperation and readiness to provide various scientific services to university students in order to serve the education sector and develop the capabilities of the graduate in the practical fields. During the meeting, a scientific cooperation agreement was signed between the two sides, and Basrah Oil and Gas University appreciated Halliburton's efforts for its continued scientific cooperation with the university through thanks and appreciation given by the President of the University to the company's delegation.
