Local and Foreign Oil Companies Visit Oil and Gas Engineering College

A delegation represented by Basra Oil Company BOC, Schlumberger Oil Field Services and ExxonMobil visited Oil and Gas Engineering College and looked over the work of the recently established oil and gas engineering software laboratory. The delegation was received by the Chancellor of BUOG, Dr. Abbas H. Abbas, and the Chancellor Assistant for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Emad Al- Kharsan and the Dean of OGEC, Dr. Firas Al- Badran.

For his part, Dr. Abbad welcomed the delegation and stated that;" This laboratory includes specific accurate programs such as Petrel, Eclips and Techlog which are certified by the international oil companies as the basic programs for the academic studies"; noting that the exclusive supplier of these programs is Schlumberger Company.
