Studies, Research and Development Department
This department is directly related to the Chancellor assistant for Scientific Affairs. It includes three divisions:
1-Postgraduate Division
2-Planning and Follow up Division
3-Scientific Affairs Division
This department is responsible for strategic and scientific planning, it seeks to build and own an integrated database for the scientific activities of the university.
Tasks
1-Organizing the postgraduate files (MSc and PhD Students), as well as preparing annual plan for the university and pursue its implementation.
2-Registering the results of the plans to contribute to work quality and to achieve the development objectives of the university.
3-Collecting integrated data about the activities of the university.
4-Following up the implementation procedures and measuring the achievement ratio.
5-Protection of innovations and patents.
6-Providing the necessary supplies required for scientific research such as laboratories, teaching aids, books, resources and periodicals.
7-Following up and facilitating authoring and translation of books and resources.
8-Promoting for the scientific upgrading of the teaching staff at the university.
