With the start of the new 2026/2027 academic year, an inspection visit is being conducted at the student dormitories to ensure the best possible environment for our valued students.

Acting under the direct instruction of the President of the University of Basrah for Oil and Gas, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Hleil Hafiz Al-Kaabi, a delegation from the University’s Student Housing Department visited the University of Basrah’s dormitory complex (specifically the female student dorms). The purpose of the visit was to inspect the services provided to female students from the University of Basrah for Oil and Gas.

The delegation was led by the Director of the Student Housing Department, Dr. Fatima Hadi Ahmed, and included the Head of the Social Research Unit, Ms. Amal Abdul-Wahid. They were received by the administrative and technical staff of the University of Basrah’s student housing facilities.

The visit involved a direct review of room allocation procedures and an assessment of service conditions to ensure a suitable living environment that supports the students' academic progress and addresses any obstacles they might face at the start of their new academic year. For their part, the students expressed their gratitude to the university administration for meeting all their housing needs and for the ongoing attention given to their requirements throughout the week.
