Basra University for Oil and Gas organizes a training course on "Management Information Systems"

Under the patronage of the President of Basra Oil and Gas University, Professor Dr. Muhammad Halil Hafez Al-Kaabi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas, Professor Dr. Sami Obaid Muhammad Al-Tamimi, the Continuing Education Center at the Presidency of Basra Oil and Gas University, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas, organized a training course entitled “Management Information Systems” this morning, Tuesday, September 29, 2026, in the presence of a number of faculty members at the university.

The course is taught by Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Kadhim Saddam and Lecturer Rafid Khader Radhi. The course covers a number of topics related to the concept of management information systems and their role in supporting administrative processes and decision-making, in addition to the importance of employing modern systems in developing institutional performance and enhancing the efficiency of administrative work.

This course is being held as part of the university’s efforts to develop the administrative and digital skills and knowledge of its members, and to promote a culture of digital transformation and benefit from modern technologies in the university work environment.
