The College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas organizes a volunteer initiative for Dar Al-Zuhour and Dar Al-Aytam Al-Baraem (My School Initiative Season Two)

The College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas organized a humanitarian volunteer initiative for orphaned children at Dar Al-Zuhour for the care of female orphans, as well as Dar Al-Baraem Orphanage, on Wednesday morning, September 23, 2026, under the patronage of the President of Basra University for Oil and Gas, Professor Dr. Muhammad Halil Hafez Al-Kaabi, and under the supervision and presence of the Dean of the College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas, Professor Dr. Sami Obaid Muhammad Al-Tamimi. The campaign comes within the framework of the "My School" initiative, the second season, which is based on the directives of the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and coincides with the beginning of the new academic year, in order to support orphaned children and contribute to creating an educational environment that gives them the opportunity to start their academic year with hope and reassurance. The initiative included the distribution of school bags, complete school stationery, and school clothes, through a humanitarian volunteer initiative by the professors and staff of the College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas. In turn, the administration of the orphanage expressed its thanks and appreciation to Basra University for Oil and Gas, with its professors, students, and staff, for providing continuous support to serve the orphans in Basra.
