The President of Basra University for Oil and Gas meets with a number of professors from the College of Oil and Gas Engineering

The President of Basra University for Oil and Gas, Professor Dr. Mohammed Hilal Hafez Al-Kaabi, received a number of professors from the College of Petroleum and Gas Engineering in the University Council Hall on Monday morning, September 14, 2026.

Al-Kaabi congratulated them on the start of the new academic year 2026-2027 and commended their scientific and administrative efforts, and discussed with them the administrative, technical and scientific requirements for the success of the new academic year.

Listening to their requests and in accordance with ministerial instructions, the University Service Law, instructions on the structure of work of a faculty member, and the need to develop teaching staff in line with the size of the digital transformation and to keep pace with ministerial directives for the sake of the quality of education and the college’s outputs, Mr. Al-Kaabi bid farewell to the teaching staff warmly and blessed their efforts in service to their scientific departments and our dear students.
