Basra University for Oil and Gas organizes a training course on: "Implementing the policy of preserving the integrity of the Arabic language"

Under the patronage of the President of Basra Oil and Gas University, Professor Dr. Muhammad Halil Hafez Al-Kaabi, the Continuing Education Center at the Presidency of Basra Oil and Gas University organized, on Tuesday morning, September 15, 2026, a training course entitled: (Implementing the Policy of Preserving the Integrity of the Arabic Language), in the presence of a number of university staff.

The course, presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Khaldoun Kazem Hashem, addressed the importance of preserving the integrity of the Arabic language and promoting its proper use in official communications and correspondence and the academic environment, as well as introducing the most prominent methods and rules that contribute to raising the level of writing and communication in the Arabic language, in line with its status and role in educational institutions.

The session also witnessed the presentation of a number of topics and discussions aimed at raising awareness of the importance of adhering to the rules of the Arabic language and applying them in various fields of academic university work, in order to improve the quality of correspondence and official documents.

The holding of this course comes as part of the training programs organized by the University of Basra for Oil and Gas, with the aim of developing the linguistic and professional skills of the university’s staff.
