University Council Structure
The Council of Basrah University for Oil and Gas is responsible for drawing up general policies, overseeing academic, administrative, and financial affairs, and coordinating educational and research activities in accordance with current laws, regulations, instructions, and decisions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the Republic of Iraq, to achieve the university's mission and strategic goals and enhance institutional performance quality.
