University Council Structure
The Council of Basrah University for Oil and Gas is responsible for drawing up the general policies of the university, supervising its academic, administrative, and financial affairs, and coordinating educational and research activities. This is conducted in accordance with the laws, regulations, and effective instructions, as well as the decisions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the Republic of Iraq, to achieve the university's mission and strategic goals and to enhance the quality of institutional performance.
