Basra University for Oil and Gas is organizing a training course on: "Creating and managing official websites using Google Sites"

Under the patronage of the President of Basra Oil and Gas University, Professor Dr. Muhammad Halil Hafez Al-Kaabi, the Continuing Education Center at the Presidency of Basra Oil and Gas University organized, on Sunday morning, November 1, 2026, a training course entitled: (Fundamentals of Creating and Managing Official Websites Using Google Sites), in the presence of a number of university staff.

The course aimed to develop participants’ skills in creating and managing official websites, and to introduce them to Google Sites platform tools, page design mechanisms, content organization, updating and publishing in an easy and effective manner, in order to support digital transformation in university work.

The course was presented by Assistant Lecturer Taqa Sarhan Abdulmohsen and Assistant Lecturer Rasel Zaki Salman, who provided a practical and applied explanation of the basics of creating and managing websites, while answering the participants’ inquiries.

This course is part of the Continuing Education Center’s programs aimed at developing the digital capabilities of university staff, keeping pace with the requirements of digital transformation, and employing modern technologies in developing the university work environment.
