The College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas organizes a volunteer visit to the Specialized Children's Cancer Hospital

Within the framework of promoting the spirit of social solidarity and consolidating human values ​​among students, the College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas at Basra Oil and Gas University organized a humanitarian volunteer visit to the Specialized Children’s Cancer Hospital on Thursday morning, October 29, 2026, with the participation of a number of professors and students of the college, under the patronage of the President of Basra Oil and Gas University, Professor Dr. Muhammad Halil Hafez Al-Kaabi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas, Professor Dr. Sami Obaid Muhammad Al-Tamimi, to check on the conditions of sick children and provide them with moral and psychological support.

The visit included meeting the children, bringing joy and happiness to their hearts, and presenting them with symbolic gifts as an expression of solidarity with them on their treatment journey, and as an embodiment of the role of educational institutions in promoting a culture of volunteer work and social responsibility.

This initiative emphasized the importance of establishing the values ​​of compassion, cooperation and solidarity among members of society, and enhancing the humanitarian and educational aspect among students in a way that contributes to building a conscious generation that carries the spirit of initiative and giving.
