The head of the Missions and Cultural Relations Division at Basra University for Oil and Gas presents a training workshop on "Erasmus for Education and Innovation".

On Wednesday morning, October 28, 2026, Assistant Professor Dr. Maysaa Nouri Shehab, Head of the Missions and Cultural Relations Division and the Erasmus Program Unit at the University of Basra for Oil and Gas, presented a training workshop entitled: (Erasmus for Education and Innovation), at the College of Arts, University of Basra, in the main Arts Hall.

The workshop addressed the introduction to the Erasmus program and its importance in developing the higher education system, its role in supporting innovation and enhancing academic cooperation between educational institutions, as well as reviewing the most prominent opportunities for academic exchange, building international partnerships, and exchanging experiences and knowledge.

The workshop also witnessed the presentation of a number of topics related to the mechanisms for benefiting from Erasmus programs in developing academic and educational skills, which contributes to expanding the horizons of international cooperation and supporting the academic development and innovation process in higher education institutions.
