British Council Delegates Visit BUOG

As part of the openness to international companies and institutes, BUOG received the British Council Delegation headed by the Director of English Language Project, Mrs. Fiona Robertson and the Assistant Director of the Council in Iraq.

During the meeting, both sides discussed means of joint cooperation, especially the activation of Learn English Connect LEC program for the students and employees of BUOG, which is a new, effective, affordable and accessible learning and assessment solution; it is an online courses designed to complement and support English language learners.

For his part, the Chancellor Assistant for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Abbas H. Abbas, said that, "the meeting resulted in discussing the details and procedures of implementing the program', adding that, "BUOG is interested in activating this program for its importance to support and develop our alumni' and employees' abilities in English for being a global living language as well as our continuous quest to enhance the opportunities of graduate students to find future jobs at the important international companies".
